MinnCAP advocates at the state and federal level for policies that help build community resilience, address the causes of poverty, and enhance financial stability. We advocate for flexible grant funds that allow local agencies to meet the varied needs of their communities. We often work in coalitions with allies and partner organizations to leverage additional resources. We look to our Advocacy Network—including staff, volunteers, allies, coalition members, and partner organizations working to eliminate poverty—to connect with state and federal elected officials.
