The Minnesota Community Action Partnership (MinnCAP) strengthens the capacity of its member agencies to achieve their poverty-fighting missions, through influential advocacy, collaboration, and training.
What is Community Action?
Community Action is the authority on addressing poverty in Minnesota.
The Community Action network is composed of non-profit community-based organizations of Community Action Agencies across all 87 counties in MInnesota. Each agency is uniquely addressing the Social Determinants of Health through various programming. Informed by regular Community Needs Assessments, to better understand the needs of those most vulnerable in every community.

Through innovative programs, strategic partnerships, and dedicated service, we continue to drive meaningful change in our communities.
