Hope for the Holidays - CAP of Scott, Carver and Dakota Counties

Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency’s Hope for the Holidays assists families to experience the joy of the holidays by providing children and families with new gifts. With household budgets being stretched thin by necessities, these gifts ease the burden on parents. We envision a joy-filled holiday for all families. Client families create wish lists and are matched with donors who shop for gifts specific to those families. This year, CAP will also be offering its “Adopt-a-Senior” program as part of Hope for the Holidays! This program will help senior citizens by providing them with household goods and small gifts to help them to stretch their fixed incomes and let them know they are not alone this holiday season. Last year, over 3,000 individuals were “adopted” and received gifts donated by our partners in the community.
