Minnesota Community Action Agencies will host events to celebrate the advocacy and support agencies have given to hundreds of thousands of households with low incomes.
Community Action Agencies were established by the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. Since then, more than 1,000 Community Action Agencies have been created around the United States. There are 24 Community Action Agencies in Minnesota Community Action Partnership's network.
