Tri-County Community Action Partnership recently partnered with a local agency, Bridges of Hope.
BOH provides Resource Connections Services in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
One of the programs they operate is called Operation Sandwich. This program’s mission is to end childhood hunger by providing food for children when free and reduced price meals are not accessible at school.
Since partnering with the agency, Tri-County Community Action Partnership has received and distributed food donations to the families in our service area. Each time TCC receives the donations, we are able to provide food to 116 families.
The families we serve are extremely grateful for the food donations we are able to provide to them.
Without these food donations, families would have a difficult time affording the food needed during these breaks in school.
